A dozen Rotarians, ably assisted by Nicole Park and two professional shinglers sent by Karl, tackled another cabin this past week end at Lake Scugog Camp. A new roof was installed, a new floor was installed and painted, the entire exterior was given two fresh coats of stain and a new porch and stairs were installed. Everybody commented on how much faster the work was done this year. Congratulations to everyone involved. Bob Sawatsky once again did a great job of having everything available to go and Camp volunteers emptied the cabin in advance which allowed us to get right at it.

The roof on the Meeting Hall at the Camp is in rough shape. We committed to re-shingle the roof this year. Ken Graham has taken up the challenge to lead this effort. The professional shinglers have agreed to shingle the roof if we strip off the old shingles and supply new ones. Stay tuned!
