Running an orphanage isn’t the easiest thing to do, especially in a very poor part of India. As you can imagine there are many government regulations and requirements. This year the fire department required a stairwell to be built to the girls building and the health department required a separate girls washroom & sick room. What to do? Isaac came up with the idea to do both at the same time.

The total cost of the project is $8,300 canadian. The Canadian charitable foundation out of Brighton that supports the orphanage forwarded $2,500. After presenting the project to the Rotary Club of Oshawa Parkwood, they provided $1,000 which we recently forwarded on their behalf. We are now looking for other clubs who may wish contribute.
