The Rotary Club of Port Perry recently welcomed Sharron Rundall of Branching Out, who shared plans for the return of a powerful and meaningful November 11th poppy display.

Building on past years, the display will feature 7,000 or more crocheted and knitted poppies draped in front of the Municipal Office, creating a striking visual tribute to all past and currently serving veterans. The installation offers a place of reflection and remembrance, honouring the sacrifices made by those who have served our country.

As a community-driven initiative, the project is once again seeking volunteers to help bring the display to life—whether by creating poppies or assisting with installation.

The return of this display highlights the impact of collective effort and serves as a meaningful way for the community to come together in remembrance, honouring the courage, service, and legacy of our veterans.
