Legs for Literacy

To raise funds for many literacy projects several Rotarians and friends are cycling , running and walking for the cause. For example, Bob Almack and his wife cycled from Winnipeg to Tobermoray, a distance in excess of 1,800 kilometres. Dennis Bayley will shortly be completing three thousand miles walking on a treadmill. Ken Graham has completed three 10k runs and there is more to come, and Kyra Graham and Line Nielsen have each run 10k to support literacy projects of Port Perry Rotary Club such as the dictionary, 1st Nations literacy, intergenerational, and literacy workshop projects. Pledges in support of Legs for Literacy of $20 or more will get tax receipts. To register online simply click here.
